I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to De Lucy Primary School.

We are a friendly and caring primary school situated in Abbey Wood in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

We have a nursery class,  offering 26 morning places, one form of entry in Reception to Year 2 and one and a half form of entry in Years 3-6. We have three mixed Year 3 and 4 classes and three mixed Year 5 & 6 classes.

Our motto at De Lucy is 'High achievement in a caring community'. We pride ourselves on being a hard working yet friendly school which aims to provide pupils with as many opportunities to support them to succeed. We pride ourselves on the courteous nature of our pupils as well as their academic success.  In Summer 2025, all our KS2 results were in line or above national. 

We are currently in the process of joining PolyMAT Multi Academy Trust to strengthen our offer here at De Lucy and work in partnership with other schools in the trust. This will also include secondary transition for our Year 6 pupils.

At De Lucy we have three school rules which both pupils and staff adhere to:

• Everyone keeps each other safe
  • We use kind hands and feet

Newsletters are issued fortnightly via email and are also posted on here on our website in the news tab, to ensure that you are kept up to date with all the latest news and to share in our successes. I hope that you find these useful and informative as I am keen to ensure that parents continue to be an important part of our school community.
