Year 3 to Year 4

Dear Year 3,

We cannot believe how quickly the summer holidays have come and that your time in Year 3 has finished. You have all worked incredibly hard this year and we are proud of the work you have produced and what you have achieved. As a year group, we have experienced many positive memories. We thoroughly enjoyed your Christmas performances and end of term singing assembly; you were all incredible!

We have enjoyed looking at all of the work you have completed at home during the lockdown and are pleased to see that you have maintained your good work ethic. We have put together a pack of Literacy and Maths questions for you to complete so that you can continue with your learning over the summer and get ready for Year 4. You have a mixture of maths questions to answer with the focus on your calculation skills, remember to present your work neatly. For the literacy work, there is a range of activities from story writing, using fronted adverbials to cracking codes.

We know this year did not end the way that we planned, but we hope that you have an amazing summer break; spending quality time with your family, visiting the park and staying safe.

We will miss you all.

Mrs Jackson, Mrs Macauley and Miss Verge

The attached home learning document is in a similar style to all your home learning during school closure. There are lots of different activities for you to choose from.
