Year 6 Secondary transfer meeting
In the Autumn term the application window will open for making secondary school applications for September 2026. This window will open on 1st September 2025 and will close on 31st October 2025.
Some secondary schools will be holding open days/visits this term, but the majority will do this in the autumn term and will advertise these on their websites. If we are sent information regarding these from Secondary schools, we will share these with you.
To go through the Secondary School Admission process with you, we will be holding a parent meeting at 4.30pm – 5pm on Thursday 11th September. It is recommended that all parents attend this meeting.
If you wish for your child to be considered for selective schools (such as grammar schools in Bexley), you will not be able to do this unless you registered for your child to sit the 11+ or similar tests. Please be aware that the deadline to apply for your child to sit the Bexley 11+ test has already passed. As a school we do not advertise these tests as we are a RBG school, not Bexley.
