Dear Parents and Carers
I hope that you have all had a restful half term and enjoyed the milder weather we have had over the past few days.
Government announcement re wider reopening of schools
You may or may not be aware but the Prime Minister is expected to make an announcement tomorrow in regards to the 'road map' to reopening the economy and when all pupils will return to school. Schools so not get advanced warning of the content of announcements, we will only find out the information by watching the live news with the rest of the nation and then we will receive confirmation of expectations from the Department of Education. This can sometimes be the next day.
As a Senior Leadership Team, we have made provisional plans for a range of potential scenarios which may be announced. I would like to assure families that although there is nothing I would like more than having all children back in school learning as soon as possible, the health and safety of all will be the priority. As soon as I can update you, I will.
Spring 2 begins!
Tomorrow Spring 2 begins!
Remote learning via Tapestry (for EYFS) and Google Classroom (for Years 1-6) will be back on line in the morning.
As a reminder, all pupils in Years 1 -6 are expected to 'register' by commenting on the morning message from the class teacher by 9.30am.
De Lucy Bake Off Challenge
Over the half term, Mr Holmes set the 'De Lucy Bake Off' challenge. Please don't forget to upload any pictures to either Tapestry or Google Classroom for staff to see. From the photos posted so far, there was a lot of baking and a lot of cake eating in half term!
I hope that everyone has a great start to the new term tomorrow!
