Rescheduled Sports Day
Dear parents and carers
We are rescheduled sports day for Years 1 – 6 on Monday 6th July in the morning ahead of the forecast increase in temperatures. This means that the Year 2 – Year 3 transition meeting which was scheduled for 9am will be moved. We will update parents on this tomorrow. We recognise that changing dates etc is not ideal for parents and from our side, it is also quite a challenge as this is our busiest time of the school year. Next year we will do sports day much earlier in the hope we are not affected by the heat. Thank you for your support in advance.
We are currently looking to reschedule Nursery and Reception for WC 13th July and will do so by the end of the week.
The timings for Monday 6th July are:
9.10am – 9.50am – Year 1 & 2
10am – 10.50am – Year 3 & 4
11am – 11.50am – Year 5 & 6
Children will need to wear school PE kit and have a water bottle, hat and sun cream applied ahead of the day.
Parents are able to come and watch, we will be using the back gate. It is expected that phones are keep away and no photos are taken. If phones are seen in use, I am afraid you will be asked to leave the site. This is for safeguarding reasons.
