Reception to Year 2 gate

Dear parents and carers of Reception to Year 2

This morning was a little hectic in parts on the gate for Reception to Year 2 due to a few children not lining up and adults not being visible.

Can all parents please be reminded that children should be lining up with their adult either towards the nursery for Years 1 & 2 or towards the back gate for Reception. We admit a line at a time as this enables us to greet the children and ensure that everyone comes in safely. If your child’s line has already gone in, please wait at the side (where their line was) and staff will let them in when possible. 

As you can appreciate the gates are very busy and staff are not always available to speak to parents, so you may be asked to wait for a few minutes to speak to a member of staff or be advised that another time is more suitable.

Parents and carers are also asked not to smoke or vape within 15 metres of the school.
