Onyx class staffing
Dear parents and carers of Onyx class
As you are aware, Miss Carnaby returned from maternity leave at the start of the term. Since returning, her working pattern changed to Monday to Wednesday. For the past few weeks Mr Ashmore has been covering in Onyx class on Thursday and Fridays.
I am now able to inform you that Mrs Newbold will be returning to De Lucy on Thursday 5th February and will be teaching in Onyx class on Thursdays and Fridays until the end of the school year.
Mrs Newbold is an experienced teacher who worked at De Lucy for fourteen years before leaving in 2023, we think that she may have taught some of Onyx class when they were much younger. We are really pleased to welcome her back and are confident that both her and Miss Carnaby will be a great job share team.
