Headteacher absence

Dear parents and carers

I have recently been absent from school following ankle surgery on 8th January. Whilst the surgery went well, the recovery is requiring more rest than I expected which means that I will not be back at school on Monday as I hoped and my presence on site may be limited over the next few weeks. When I start my return to site, it is unlikely that you will see me on the gates etc as my mobility is restricted until the half term. 

In my extended absence, Mrs Richardson will continue to run the school with the support of the rest of the Senior Leadership Team (Mrs Bryan and Mrs Moran). I am sure that you can appreciate that my absence has led to the Senior Leadership Team being busier than usual, Mrs Richardson also teaches on a Monday and Mrs Bryan works Wednesday - Friday. 

I'd like to thank you in advance for your patience if some actions are delayed a little in this period such as returning calls and organising meetings etc.
