GSSP (Greenwich School Sport Partnership) events in Y3-6

Dear parents and carers of Years 3 - 6

Through our partnership with the GSSP (Greenwich School Sport Partnership) we are able to access additional sporting opportunities throughout the year for Years 3-6. 

Recently through the GSSP we have had groups go to Toca Social at the O2, Bowling in Greenwich and next half term we have a Year 5 group going climbing at The Reach. 

The GSSP states which year groups can attend and sometimes there is a target audience,  such as:

• girls only
• boys only
• pupils who are not keen on PE
• pupils with special education needs

It is great that we can access these extra events, however it is rare for whole classes to be able to attend and is often only for 8-12 pupils at time. We understand that your child may be disappointed if they are not attending a trip when their peers are. We are keeping a log of who attends which event so that we can do our best to ensure that as many children as  possible can take part in a GSSP event over their four years in Key Stage 2.
