Curriculum Mapping
The De Lucy curriculum is based on the National Curriculum and the children follow schemes of work which have been developed by subject leaders and which last for a half term. Connections are made across the different subjects; they learn, develop and apply a range of skills across the whole of the curriculum through this approach. Our curriculum is sequenced and interconnected, allowing concepts to be revisited and developed overtime.
We aim to provide a broad and balanced curriculum which enables all children to be confident, independent and inquisitive learners who develop a lifelong love of learning and an understanding of the world.
Religious Education follows the Agreed Syllabus as outlined by the Royal Borough of Greenwich Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE).
We have bought into schemes of work for specific subjects:
PE follows the Rising Stars ‘Champions’ scheme of work.
Computing follows the ‘Purple Mash’ scheme of work.
Music follows the Charanga scheme of work.
